## What is a dividend tracker?

A dividend tracker is an app that collects your dividend stocks, ETFs and funds in one place and shows the income they produce: what you have received, what is coming next, and how your yield changes over time. Instead of checking each brokerage account, you see every payout across all your portfolios on one dashboard.

Plainzer is a free dividend tracker for the web, iOS and Android. Import your transactions from a CSV file or link one of 20+ supported brokerages, and Plainzer calculates your upcoming dividends, annual income, dividend yield and yield on cost automatically.

| | Spreadsheet | Plainzer |
| --- | --- | --- |

## Frequently asked questions

### How can I import holdings from my brokerage account?

Great question - especially for investors managing larger or multi-account portfolios. Plainzer offers several flexible options for importing your holdings and transaction history. The fastest and most convenient method is using CSV file import. We currently support pre-built templates for many popular brokerages - Ally Invest, Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Interactive Brokers, Revolut, Robinhood, Tastytrade, Trading 212, Webull, and XTB. You can also use our custom CSV template if your brokerage isn't on the list. If you need help formatting your file or have a unique export format, just contact our support team - we're happy to assist or expand our template support. Prefer to do it manually? No problem - Plainzer also allows you to manually enter transactions one by one, giving you full control without needing to upload any files. For users looking to create custom integrations or automate workflows, you can access your portfolio and transaction data programmatically via our API. This feature is available with a Professional subscription plan, giving you full control over retrieving detailed portfolio statistics, tracking performance over time, and creating transactions directly from your own tools or scripts. Additionally, you can connect your brokerage account directly to Plainzer, and dividend tracker will automatically sync your trading history and transactions.

### Does Plainzer support linking to my brokerage account?

Yes, dividend tracker currently supports secure connections with multiple brokerages, allowing you to sync your trading history automatically. Supported brokerages for automatic connection and sync include AJ Bell, Bux, Chase, CommSec, Empower, E*Trade, Fidelity, Interactive Brokers, Public, Questrade, Robinhood, Schwab, Stake Australia, Tastytrade, Trading 212, Upstox, Vanguard, Webull, Wealthsimple, Wells Fargo, and Zerodha. We are continuously investing resources to expand brokerage integrations while maintaining strict security and privacy standards, and our team is actively researching secure solutions to connect with additional U.S. brokerages in the future.

### Which stock exchanges do you support?

Dividend tracker supports stock exchanges from markets around the world. We are gradually rolling out coverage for international equities in addition to our existing U.S. support. For the United States, Plainzer supports over 30,000 stocks and ETFs listed on major exchanges such as the NYSE and NASDAQ, along with a wide range of popular mutual funds. As global support expands, you can track holdings from markets including the UK, Canada, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and many others. If you come across a ticker that is not yet supported, you can contact our team and we will do our best to add it promptly.

### Does Plainzer support alerts for dividends?

Yes! Plainzer can notify you whenever a dividend is paid on your holdings. This feature is available for customers on any paid subscription plan, helping you stay informed about income from your investments without having to constantly check your portfolio.

### Does Plainzer support DRIP?

Dividend tracker supports dividend reinvestment (DRIP). When enabled, your dividend payouts are automatically used to purchase additional shares of the same stock, helping your portfolio grow over time. Please note that DRIP is available only on paid subscription plans. You can enable it in your portfolio settings after upgrading.

### How does Plainzer handle stock splits?

Plainzer automatically adjusts your portfolio to reflect stock splits, so you don’t have to manually update your holdings. When a stock split occurs, Plainzer recalculates the number of shares and the cost basis accordingly, ensuring your portfolio data remains accurate and up to date. This way, you can focus on tracking your investments without worrying about corporate actions affecting your records.

### Is Plainzer free?

Plainzer offers a free version that includes 1 portfolio with up to 50 transactions and 10 holdings - perfect for trying out the platform and seeing if it fits your needs. While the free plan gives you access to essential features, some advanced functionality is limited or disabled. To unlock the full power of Plainzer, including unlimited portfolios and transactions plus premium insights, you can subscribe starting at $8 per month - and save up to 30% with an annual subscription. This way, you get the best value and the most comprehensive tools to manage and grow your dividend portfolio.

### Can I cancel or change my subscription anytime?

Yes, you can cancel or change your subscription at any time without any restrictions or penalties. Whether you want to upgrade, downgrade, or stop your subscription, it’s easy to manage directly from your account settings. Your changes will take effect immediately or at the end of your current billing period, depending on the option you choose. We want to give you full control and flexibility so you can use Plainzer on your terms.

### Is Plainzer just a standard dividend tracker?

Plainzer is much more than a standard dividend tracker. While it excels at helping you monitor upcoming dividends and forecast income, it also provides a comprehensive view of your entire investment portfolio - including assets that don't generate dividends. With Plainzer, you can analyze long-term performance metrics, track total returns, view your dividend yield and yield on cost, and monitor diversification across sectors or asset types. The platform also highlights key corporate actions like ex-dividend and payout dates, so you never miss an important event. On top of that, Plainzer offers smart insights and visual dashboards to help you understand trends, risks, and opportunities in your portfolio. Whether you're focused on dividend income, growth, or a mix of both, Plainzer gives you the tools to stay informed and in control.
